Alumni events

Alumni events

Our events programme runs all year round, and you’re always welcome.

Each year, we organise events and reunions exclusively for alumni in the UK and abroad.

There are also lectures, exhibitions, recitals and concerts at the university year-round which are open to alumni as well as students, staff and the local community. Please check the events calendar to see what’s on.

Saturday 14 - Sunday 15 September 2024 on campus
The next reunion for alumni who attended Royal Holloway between 1965-1985 will be on the 14 and 15 September 2024. It is being organised by John Parker, supported by Jon Cutter and will offer plenty of opportunities to socialise and catch up with old friends. Tickets can be purchased here

Save the date: Join Royal Holloway's Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Professor Julie Sanders in Beijing and Shanghai this September
We are delighted to invite you to join fellow alumni and friends for drinks and a buffet at prestigious venues in Beijing and Shanghai.
To book for the Beijing event on the 25 September, please click here
To book for the Shanghai event on the 28 September, please click here

Reunions are a wonderful way to reconnect with former classmates and help you make new professional contacts. We can support you through the process of organising a reunion, whether it’s a small drinks reception or a whole weekend of activity.

  • Contact the Alumni Relations team to let us know your plans.
  • Decide on a date: we can confirm if the areas on campus you want to visit will be available.
  • Promote the event: let us know the details of the reunion and who you want to come, and we can invite relevant alumni and promote it on our website and social media.
  • Coverage in our alumni news: we love to hear about reunions, so send us a write-up and photos and we can feature it on our Alumni and Supporter News page.

Please contact the Alumni Relations team or +44 (0)1784 414478 for more information.

We send event invitations straight to alumni who are signed up to receive email communications, update your details so we can let you know about relevant events.
