"SpiderCast: A Scalable Interest-Aware Overlay for Topic-Based Pub/Sub Communication" published in DEBS 2007 is the winner of the award.
DEBS announced the winner of the "The International Distributed Event-based Systems (DEBS) Series 2002-2007 Influential Paper Awards" for 2007 as the paper "SpiderCast: A Scalable Interest-Aware Overlay for Topic-Based Pub/Sub Communication". The paper was coauthored by Prof. Gregory Chockler.
The selection process was performed by a subcommittee of the DEBS Steering Committee (SC) with consultation opportunity extended to all members of the SC.
