Professor Lynette Goddard has recently written about Black British Playwrights for Drama Online Black History Month.

As part of Bloomsbury Publishing’s Black History Month celebrations, department Professor of Black Theatre and Performance, Lynette Goddard, has recently written Drama Online’s Featured Content page about Black British Playwrights.

The feature article looks at seven black British plays that explore the themes of identity politics and the aesthetics of form in Black British playwriting from the 1980s to the present day.
