3 fully funded PhD UK studentships available in environmental geochemistry

Three fully funded studentships are available as part of a major new the UKRI Frontier Research Project called ‘Disentangling the role of organic feedbacks on the global carbon cycle (DISTILL).’ The project, which is led by Dr Alex Dickson, aims to use inorganic isotope geochemistry to trace Earth’s ancient organic carbon cycle.

Further details of the three projects are available here.

You should have a background in Earth Sciences, Physical Geography or Chemistry and be interested in isotope geochemistry and environmental change. Applications should only be made via Royal Holloway Direct (not by email) (https://admissions.royalholloway.ac.uk) and include: a cover letter stating your motivation to apply for each particular project, your C.V., academic transcript(s) and the names of two academic references.
The studentships are available to start from September 2023.
The closing date for applications is the 10th March 2023.
The funding available for this studentship covers home (UK) fees.
