On Friday 8th November, Alexander Gilder chaired a panel at a workshop entitled “Utopian thinking in international law, human rights and governance” held at Newcastle University’s Human Rights and Social Justice Forum. The workshop brought together academics from law, architecture, sociology, and English to approach Utopian thinking in an interdisciplinary manner. Alex has been working on a related article which suggests international law in a globalised and interconnected world will need to be increasingly aware of the need for individual participation.
