IMA prize winners

Prof Simon Blackburn was awarded a Certificate of Service by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA), at a ceremony at the Royal Society on 28th June 2023. The certificate was in recognition of his long-standing role as the Royal Holloway representative for the IMA.

The IMA has over 5000 members, working at all levels within academia and industry, with interests in mathematics and their applications. The Institute exists to enhance and promote mathematical culture in the UK and beyond. The IMA sponsors two Graduate Prizes for Royal Holloway Maths undergraduate finalists each year, awarded to mathematicians who have demonstrated outstanding performance in their course.
