Royal Holloway is excited to host a public engagement event open to members of the Runnymede local community. The event will spotlight the innovative findings of the Neighbourhood Watch project and launch the SSIA-funded PhD studentship, which is a vital extension of this research.
Event Overview
The focal point of this event is the presentation of initial findings on how social media can be leveraged to bolster the efforts of the Runnymede Neighbourhood Watch. These insights will not only shed light on existing practices but also pave the way for developing effective social media strategies. The event will also officially launch the SSIA funded PhD project, which delves deeper into community perceptions of neighbourhood watch schemes and explores avenues to enhance membership (particularly amongst minority groups) and engagement.
