Taking the first step and mixing with others is vital to ensuring your future graduate finds a friendship group with whom they feel comfortable and connected. Encourage them to put themselves out there and make new friends. A way to help balance the budget is for your future graduate to take on part-time work that will dovetail with their studies. Royal Holloway’s Careers and Employability Service offers support and guidance throughout the year. You can find out more about what is available here.

Royal Holloway is located in an extremely safe environment and our security operate 24/7. We have on-campus services available to give advice and support on an array of matters from mental health to budgeting. We take the health and well-being of our students incredibly seriously and will be there for them regardless of the problem.
